Sleep
talking can be embarrassing and even disrupt other sleepers, but most people
don't even realize they're doing it. We got this email from a viewer: Dear Dr.
Manny, My roommate tells me that I talk a lot in my sleep, but I don't know
why. What does it mean? And what can I do to stop talking in the middle of the

Sometimes your words can relate to past events or experiences, but most often
it makes no sense at all," said Dr. Shelby Harris, Psy.D, director of
