First tidbit, we have bad weather approaching Arkansas again! Keep your electronics charged and be prepared to take safety precautions. Make a safety plan before you need it and let's all stay safe.
Clarification: the changes discussed are for Medicare not Medicaid. If you are covered under Arkansas Medicaid, you follow different guidelines. I am not aware of changes to Medicaid at this time. The government is trying to be efficient and frugal by accepting bids. It is a change in policy but should result in lower co-pays and overall charges.
Reminder, Mississippi State University will begin calling clients for the 2013 OIB satisfaction survey. If you received services since last July, you may receive a call. The calls are two-fold. They will ask you questions about the Older Blind Program and will also ask you additional questions for research they are conducting. If you have questions or concerns just give me a call.
