Now that summer is officially here, we can all look forward to higher electrical bills. According to Entergy we can help reduce them a tad. They suggest keeping the temperature constant. Determine your comfort level and leave the thermostat alone. If you can stand 78 and use a ceiling or floor fan, it will seem cooler. Keep shades, curtains or blinds closed to reduce sunlight entering your home. This one is hard for me, I like the light. Use ceiling fans to circulate air. If you have a fan, use it. The fan makes the most noticeable difference.
