Saturday, December 7

A very good cold morning to each of you!
It is a little chilly in my corner of the world! We have about one inch of ice on the ground which fell very quickly on Friday morning. Fortunately, most citizens followed recommendations and stayed in. I don't believe anyone traveled on my street. I opted to stay in and eat! What is it about watching the weather that makes us hungry? Today will be left overs - brown beans and cornbread! That is my favorite left over. Beans are always better on the second day! I do hope everyone continues to stay in until the streets melt. A quick look outside this morning indicates it is still very treacherous. Don't go out unless absolutely necessary. If you do venture out, be very careful and ear a shoe which has some grip ability such as tennis shoes or boots. Nothing works on ice, but a smooth sole is just asking for a fall.

Bragging point: we had over 200 hits on our little blog yesterday! Thanks to each of you, our little program is really catching on. We are gaining some notoriety in the blindness field which is resulting in great feedback. You have made this possible! Thanks to each of you.

Stay warm and call a friend today!
Until tomorrow,
Dr. Janet
